KARE 11 honors volunteers who help make our
community special.
Eleven Who Care is a live, televised
program honoring the volunteer contributions of eleven outstanding,
grassroots volunteers and promoting the spirit of volunteerism in our
communities. The eleven honorees are selected in May by the Board of
Governors from nominations submitted by individuals and service
organizations throughout KARE 11's
viewing area. Their individual stories are told during the televised
program each September. In 1984 Eleven Who Care program was created
and since 2005,
242 incredible volunteers have reconized.
